Even after racking up more than a million frequent travel points over the past four years, the Travel Scholar can't see and do it all. In fact, many of you probably travel even more frequently, fly on more airplanes, stay at more hotels, and eat at more restaurants. The Travel Scholar isn't the world's only travel guru, and that's why he needs your help!
If you've got a great travel experience to share, then why not write a great trip report to tell about it?
It's easy! All you need to do is to take some descriptive photographs and write about your first hand travel experiences. Then, send The Travel Scholar your completed trip report.
If your submission fits the bill of "expert trip reports for informed travellers", then The Travel Scholar will put the presentation together to be included on this web site.
Here are the steps to take if you would like to share your travel experiences with The Travel Scholar:

Fly on a plane, stay at a hotel, or eat at a restaurant.

Take pictures, lots of them.

Write about your experience, and if you took your pictures on film, convert them to digital files (either by scanning them yourself or taking them to a photo finisher that offers digital services)

Be sure to include details about your travel experience. For flights, include the airline, class of service, flight numbers, origin and destination, and dates of travel. For hotels, include the hotel's name, location, and dates of your stay. For restaurants, include the name and location of the restaurant, as well as what meal you ate there. Finally, for all reports, be sure to include any other information, such as elite status in frequent travel programmes, if they are relevant to the level of service you received.

Send your report text and unedited digital photo files to The Travel Scholar. We recommend sending a CD-R to: The Travel Scholar; Sound Message, LLC; PO Box 8785; Erie, PA 16505-0785. Or, you can email your report as a .ZIP (PC) or .SIT (MAC) file. Please note, however, that some internet service providers limit the size of outgoing email attachments. Be sure to send us your contact information along with your report so we know how to reach you!
You will be notified when we receive your report, and you will be contacted again once your report has been reviewed. The Travel Scholar reserves the right to edit trip reports for content and style. However, the you will be given full credit for writing the report, including email address and web site links if you'd like them.
